Our Wines

Manso de Velasco was created in 1985 as Miguel Torres Chile’s first high-end wine, a Vino de Pago - a single-vineyard wine - that introduced concepts such as aging in new oak barrels and in bottle. Over the years, it has become known as one of the few high-quality Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon wines produced outside the Maipo Valley. Since its creation, Manso de Velasco has reflected Miguel Torres’ passion for excellence and quality, becoming the most recognized and awarded wine of our winery.
Escaleras de Empedrado is Miguel Torres’ most exclusive wine and possibly Familia Torres’ most ambitious project. It all began with the discovery of schist soils in the coastal area of the Maule Valley, near the town of Empedrado, after an intense search. We wanted to craft an exceptional Pinot Noir with a true sense of place and a personality of its own, setting it apart from other Chilean Pinot Noirs.
At Miguel Torres, we are defined by our curiosity. We are constantly thinking, experimenting, and searching for vineyards and techniques that allow us to create unique wines with great personality. Throughout this ongoing search, we come across exceptional wines that usually end up as experiments or as part of other blends. The Inquietos Line was born from the desire to showcase these incredible wines as they emerge: wines of superlative quality, with great personality, and truly one of a kind.
In the 1990s, Miguel Torres embarked on a journey to the heart of the Maule Valley. There, among forgotten vineyards, he discovered Cariñena, a hidden gem. From this discovery, the first Cordillera wine was born in 1996, marking the beginning of an expedition across Chile in search of unique places where each grape variety could tell the story of its land. At the foot of the Andes Mountains, the backbone that connects all these valleys, the wines that bear its name are born.
Millapoa is a time capsule. Its vineyards of origin in Bío Bío Valley are a hundred years old, witnesses to a chapter in history that spans a century. This is the story we want to tell today, about the farmers who dedicated their lives to working this land in the early 19th century. The river was their greatest ally, the only way of reaching nearby villages where they sold their most precious commodity: wine. By continuing the legacy of our traditions, we feel part of something special.
Almado is an organic blend from our regenerative vineyard in Huerta de Maule. The idea behind the wine is to express the finest characteristics contributed by each of the selected varieties in a blend that enhances the expression of the old dry-farmed vineyard.
We recovered the oldest grape variety to have arrived in Chile in the 17th century: País. For generations, it was cultivated by small farmers and became an essential part of our winemaking identity, until it was gradually forgotten. Today, we bring it back into the spotlight, transforming it into a fresh, vibrant, and authentic sparkling wine that honors its roots and projects its character into the future. Estelado is tradition reinterpreted, heritage turned into celebration.
Miguel Torres Ándica is made under the vision of honoring the natural expression and biodiversity of the country that welcomed us 40 years ago. This 100% certified organic wine is crafted with the utmost respect for the Chilean ecosystems where we grow our grapes, from the north to Patagonia, with a sustainable approach to agriculture and an awareness of climate change.
More than 500 years ago, in the Itata Valley, the first vines that gave rise to Chile’s winemaking history were born. Over time, many of those grape varieties were forgotten… until today. La Causa was created to honor that heritage, rescuing ancestral varieties. It is not just wine: it is tradition brought back to life.
Miguel Torres’ Gran Reserva wines are one of the winery’s first wine ranges, sourced exclusively from the Curicó Valley. They are the direct result of the innovations introduced by Miguel Torres in 1979, such as the use of stainless steel tanks, temperature control during fermentation, and aging in French oak barrels.
Santa Digna is one of Miguel Torres Chile’s flagship brands and a true classic in Chilean wine. Since the winery’s beginnings in 1979, this range has been an essential part of the winemaking project, representing tradition, quality, and the spirit of the Central Valley.
Our name is a tribute to the noble and gentle mules that once supported the work of winegrowers. Today, they roam freely through the vineyards, and we remember them for their patience, endurance, simplicity, tolerance to harsh climates, loyalty, strength, and courage.
Amid the fast pace of the day, there are moments that invite us to pause. To take a deep breath. To reconnect. Serena Mode was born for those moments. It is our first 100% alcohol-free wine, created for those who choose to live naturally, freely, and without restrictions. For those who take care of their bodies without giving up enjoyment, who seek harmony with nature, or who simply want to be present in the now.
